Download Fiber Studio
Get the desktop app for macOS, Windows, or Linux. Installers ship with each GitHub release. Testnet ready.
Latest release v0.1.9
Choose your platform
Download only the installer for your machine. Skip signature files, latest.json, and *.app.tar.gz — those are for in-app updates.
macOS
Apple Silicon (M1–M4)
Open the DMG and drag Fiber Studio to Applications.
macOS
Intel
Open the DMG and drag Fiber Studio to Applications.
Windows
64-bit
Run the setup wizard. Prefer the NSIS setup (.exe).
Linux
x64
AppImage: chmod +x then run. Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./….deb. Fedora/RHEL: sudo dnf install ./….rpm.
Linux
ARM64
AppImage: chmod +x then run. Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./….deb. Fedora/RHEL: sudo dnf install ./….rpm.
After you install
Builds are not Apple-notarized or Windows-signed yet. Your OS may warn on first launch — that is expected for GitHub downloads today.
macOS Gatekeeper
Gatekeeper may show “Fiber Studio” Not Opened with only Done and Move to Bin. Do not click Move to Bin.
- Open the DMG and drag Fiber Studio to Applications.
- Open the app once — Gatekeeper will block it.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, find the Fiber Studio message, and click Open Anyway.
- Or in Finder: right-click Fiber Studio → Open → Open.
Windows SmartScreen
If SmartScreen appears, choose More info → Run anyway.
After the first successful launch, the OS remembers your choice. In-app updates later use Settings → Updates — ignore latest.json and *.app.tar.gz on the release page; those are for the updater, not manual install.
Next: set up your node
After install, walk through the wizard: start your Fiber node, open a channel, then send or receive on testnet.
