macOS

Windows
64-bit
Run the setup wizard. Prefer the NSIS setup (.exe).
Linux
x64
AppImage: chmod +x then run. Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./….deb. Fedora/RHEL: sudo dnf install ./….rpm.
Linux
ARM64
AppImage: chmod +x then run. Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install ./….deb. Fedora/RHEL: sudo dnf install ./….rpm.
After you install
Publish releases are Apple Developer ID–signed and notarized on macOS, and Authenticode-signed on Windows. Most installs open normally after you download.
macOS
Open the DMG, drag Fiber Studio to Applications, then launch it. Notarized builds should open without Gatekeeper blocking.
If you still see “Fiber Studio” Not Opened, do not click Move to Bin. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway, or right-click the app in Finder → Open.
Windows SmartScreen
Installers are Authenticode-signed. SmartScreen may still warn for a new publisher until reputation builds — choose More info → Run anyway.
After the first successful launch, the OS remembers your choice. In-app updates later use Settings → Updates — ignore latest.json and *.app.tar.gz on the release page; those are for the updater, not manual install.
Next: set up your node
After install, walk through the wizard: start your Fiber node, open a channel, then send or receive on testnet.
